This Is Totally Awesome

Pros:Difference between night and day. I love my flat screen. It was easy to set up I could not believe it! All my pictures are crisp clear as well as everything else. I am planning on buying another one right now.
Cons:I cannot find a thing wrong with this. In some of the reviews I've read mostly everyone was happy with their purchase. That is why I bought mine.

Stay away if 1920x1080

Pros:Cheap. 1:1 aspect ratio support (also see cons below)
Cons:Defaults the zoom level to 20 whenever it sees 1920x1080p 60Hz (HDTV resolution). It does use only 1080 vertical pixels out of the 1200 but I have to manually set the zoom level back to 0 in order to get sharp picture. The problem is that the monitor doesn't keep the zoom setting after power-off.

a great upgrade for the price

Pros:It has a good picture, lightweight and much nicer than the CRT monitor I've been using that came with my Dell Dimension 3000!
Cons:I had trouble with the DVI connection, it kept cutting out. I didn't have the patience to troubleshoot the video card vs the DVI port so I just put my old 128MB video card back in and am using it on VGA.
Review:I would like to see the picture quality on DVI. I would probably be a lot happier with the picture than on VGA

another good buy

Pros:Required little adjusting right out of the box. Good response time, picture quality and color balance, considering price. Dell has better monitors but the pricing on this one is hard to beat.
Cons:Makes me want to up-date my video card

Awesome Monitor

Pros:I got this amazing monitor setup a week ago and I have been using it quite a bit since then. It is the perfect monitor for school because I can play games, watch HDTV, and write papers and do research all at once, if I wanted to.
Cons:The only con I have is probably due to my setup and not the monitor. I have it hooked up over VGA right now because my laptop has HDMI out not DVI out, so I need to get a HDMI -> DVI cable. The current problem is that I sometimes get banding on the screen during very black scenes with a vary high contrast. Other than very black screens it looks awesome.
Review:The extra screen resolution has been a big help to me especially when I use After Effects and Photoshop.

Best Bang for your Buck

Pros:Where to start!? As i'm staring at my monitor right now, It has excellent clarity. Not much different than my 1908WFP at work. It's HUGE! I LOVE it. Gaming and watching DIVx movies on this thing is a treat. Coming from a 1440 to 1920 is a big difference.
Cons:minimal inputs. (DVI & VGA) Not a S-PVA panel (i don't mind this as much since i game). Vertical and Horizontal viewing is better than all monitors of this size and price range, but i'd like better. Maybe i'm just asking for too much. =)
Review:This is the best monitor you can get for the price, when you wait for the sale. I don't care for memory card readers or USB hubs built in. It's just extra's to pad up the price. This is purely a monitor. There's no need to get a monitor with HDMI. The HDMI port is for televisions which integrates sound signals in the input. What i really would like to see Dell do is start integrating new monitors with the Display port, which will be the HDMI w/o sound.

Dell 24 inch widescreen flat panel

Pros:WOW! BIG SCREEN! Nice picture and able to keep my sound bar on the screen from my 17 inch ultrasharp.
Cons:Have found none so far.
Review:I bought this monitor for a new cherry desk we installed in our home. I did not know it was going to be this big. I had a 17 inch ultrasharp that was awesome but too small for the desk so I gave it to our neighbors for there reception desk at the hotel. It has great color, took a bit of tuning to get it right and had to download driver from Dell to get the highest resolution. I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with NVidia graphics. Seems to work well with the system. Keep in mind when purchasing a large screen like this how close you are going to be sitting to it. I am about 2 feet away and wow this thing is big. I should have considered a 20 or 22 inch for what I need. Oh well, it's only money, right? My next purchase I will probably go smaller with a ultrasharp.

Pros:EXCELLENT MONITOR. PICTURE IS GREAT. I WENT FROM A 19 INCH TO THIS AND THE DIFFERENCE IS AMAZING. THE PRICE WAS OUTSTANDING. I PAID AS MUCH FOR MY 19 INCH AS THIS BIGGER ONE. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYBODY THAT WANTS A BIGGER VIEW TO BUY THIS ONE.

Simply beautiful!!

Pros:This monitor is your best bang for your buck in the sub 400$ range. The picture is simply amazing and all my games look stunning with on my GTX 280. Easy to set up and get running. The monitor looks to be of top rate build materials. Can't go wrong for the price.
Cons:You will have to do some adjusting when you get it. All the setting are maxed out and the picture is ugly when you first turn it on. Try using red-89, green-92, blue-98.
Review:Overall, doesn't have the picture quality that the Ultrasharp has, but competes quit well against it.

Amazing Monitor!!!

Pros:SHARP PICTURE - everything from streaming video, DVDs, gaming, work & daily tasks are breathtakingly beautiful (video card ATI Radeon HD 3870)    GREAT COLORS - colors are very accurate, haven't seen any issues with color and made only slight adjustment    VIEWING ANGLE - no distortion at reasonable angles    PERFECT SIZE - set further back on desk and still able to see everything & provides more working space    STURDY - worried about weight (that it might be prone to falling) but it doesn't budge, wobble, or shift at all    RESOLUTION - 1900x1200 perfect for watching DVDs & gaming while still having controls availabe    PRICE - no other monitors in this price range that offer same quality & features
Cons:NO HEIGHT ADJUST - I knew that going into the purchase, but it would have been a nice feature. I can live without it, and I wouldn't pay the difference for the UltraSharp monitor just for this feature.
Review:Product was exactly as described and has the most beautiful display I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Slim panel, takes up hardly any space on my desk & is the focal point of my entire setup. I don't need the bells and whistles of built in cam, speakers, usb ports, etc. They would have cluttered up the clean look of this monitor anyway.
Before receiving product, I had doubts that it may be too large of a display, but it is perfect for me.
If you want a computer with more features, you can certainly go for the UltraSharp...but in my opinion, you'll be paying a lot for the little differences...it's up to you. I love this monitor and am VERY happy with my purchase.
My desk is not currently large enough for two of these displays, but it if were, you could be sure I would be buying another!

A step above - No regrets!

Pros:Screen Size, bright, Hi-Definition, detailed ease of use. Plug & play without driver installation (on the Dell XPS 420).
Cons:Mount - lack of verticle adjustment (easily solved with wall mount).
Review:I'm planning on adding a second monitor to the system, as with minor adjustments out of the box it has performed excellent. (The better the video card, the better this unit performs). Even connected to my laptop via DB25, it looks great.

Good Image - Spartan Features

Pros:Very good inexpensive 24" monitor. Image quality is good, display menu has many calibration options. Fast response time and very bright compared to my Dell 20" (2005FPW).
Cons:No USB hub, relatively shallow viewing angle, limited range of movement for the stand.
Review:A USB hub would still be nice. USB hubs are very cheap and there's no reason any modern monitors of this size should not have one.

Good Monitor

Pros:Cost, ease of setting up, Cost, Good Image quality, good enough for image editing, price, bright image, snap to calibrate with a spider 2, but it wasn't bad out of the box.
Cons:Poor viewing angles, the lightness and darkness change as you tilt the monitor, side to side is hardly noticeable
Review:I have a Mac Mini and an old Inspiron 8600, so I need a monitor with DVI and VGA. I did not realize the difference between this panel and the Ultrasharps until after I bought this. If you are doing color correction, get the Ultrasharp. Otherwise great monitor for the price.
