Title: I Like It!
|
Date: March 11, 2008
|
ProsCrisp clear picture Easy to use menu to adjust settings
ConsNone that stand out
Review:I upgraded from an 18 inch Dell monitor and couldn't be happier. Sharper, clearer picture, more than adequate viewing angles, and love the extra size. Not sure why I waited this long to do so.

Title: Great update to system
|
Date: March 10, 2008

ProsThe width and height make it an excellent tool, especially if you're visually impaired. The clarity is unbelievable and for the price, a great investment.
ConsSometimes at the bottom, the colors seem a bit off but that may be the angle I have the monitor at.
Review:Along with providing great video, it has a very small footprint on the desktop compared to the 'standard' 17" monitor I previously used.

Title: Quality
|
Date: March 4, 2008

ProsBeautiful wide Screen. Easy to work with two documents simultaneously. Large enough so that my eyes do not get tired anymore after working long hours. Working with websites or Paint Shop Pro is fantastic since I can move the Palettes, menus and tools out of the way and still have a work area the size of my old 17" CRT.
ConsWould have liked a swivel stand for showing someone else what I am working on. Not a big issue since the screen is so clear even from an angle.
Review:The kids love it!!!!!!!!!

ProsSuper clear and sharp picture and clean crisp print Easy set up 2 USB outlets on the side Camera that set itself up Great price Free shipping
ConsThere is very little adustment for the monitor itself. Can't flip it sideways
Review:This is the first widescreen montor i have used. It is great for my programs that use multiple windows and for On Screen Take Off. I also like the shinny finish the screen itself has. I am going to get another for work.

Title: Samsung e228wfp - 22 inch flat panel
|
Date: March 3, 2008
|
ProsPurchased monitor w the Neoflex adjustable stand. Landscape view was OK. For side-by-side views. Now gone portriat. Appreciate the access to more document length. Color is great. Image is mostly sharp. Price was right. Also... setting up for extended desktop worked great. Plug & play. Once I decided I didn't need built-in camera, mike and speakers the purchase was a no-brainer.
Cons1) The blue on-off light is annoying in dim light. 2) The control buttons are completely mystifying. Especially if you get lost in the wrong mode and need to recover. I would not want to even attempt to customize. Set everything to Normal and Automatic and hope I never have to go back. 3) When I scroll through web pages the image on the right side of the panel breaks up temporarily. But guessing this is my video card. 4) For the extended desktop the mouse tends to get stuck in some type of virtual doorway between the monitors. So have to mouse through the middle of the screen. Which works okay.
Review:Extended desktop concept is great. But got annoyed by so much size and brightness. But when I turned down the brightness as much as I could then working with the screen size started to feel fairly normal. Also thinking the screen might be better if it was more square rather than so rectangular. Thinking would not want the long dimension and longer. But think would like it better if the short dimension was larger.
