Title: Great display - Wouldn't trade it

ProsExcellent display, especially at 1600x1200. I chose this display over a wide screen because I like to run my system at higher resolutions. I use it for office automation, gaming, & watching television (via Windows Media Center). Couldn't be happier unless I had two of them! The USB ports are a real convenience. ConsJust wish I could afford to have two of these babies.

Title: Best Monitor For The Buck

ProsThis monitor is a great monitor. This is one of the best flat panels I have ever owned. As a network admistrator, I have come into contact with well over 50 models of flat panels in my time, and this is without a doubt the best bang for the buck. The graphics are great, the cost is great, the ease of setup and maintenace is awesome!! This monitor and its smaller cousin the 19 inch are the best monitors my company has used, and I personally have used.

ProsGreat monitor using DVI inputs. Excellent picture quality, color and contrast. I did not want to go to a wide screen model as I prefer the "normal" aspect ratio. ConsI was a bit concerned about the mediocre response time but I don't do any high-action gaming so the response time has not been an issue.

Title: 2007FP for gaming use mostly.

ProsI upgraded from a 17 inch CRT. So this is much bigger. Very Huge. I didnt want a widescreen and you pay a bit more in this size for a normal aspect ratio, but its a lot of landscape. Running at 1600x1200 on a Geforce 6800 AGP card through DVI and it runs fine. Its a very good picture. Movies are great. Games I play (at 1152x864): BF2, BF2142, UT2004, etc.. They all look very good. A ton of different inputs that I have not begun to dig into. I havent hooked up the USB ports, but I can see how they would be useful. The stand is cool too. It looks great. No dead pixels. ConsI can see a bit of ghosting, its a 16ms response time, but, its really really not an issue for me. I can still play the games I want to play for hours on end and enjoy great color and a ton of landscape. When the monitor is on a black screen, you can see a touch of light bleed on the corners, but its not even noticable watching a movie. Only on startup really.
Review:I was afraid to get it because of the response time, but it really has Not been an issue. I can see it, but it doesnt affect my gameplay. I am really happy with the purchase and I am glad I decided to find a normal aspect ratio monitor I was happy with. 1600x1200 with a ton of landscape. I am happy with the purchase.

ProsGood contrast, brightness, and "white" whites. Good pixel response time. USB ports are very handy. Great quality construction. Not at all sorry I bought this. ConsThis aspect ratio screen is going out of style quickly - consider a widescreen. I also wish the pixel size was a bit smaller, as things get blurry if you are viewing resolutions other than 1600x1200.

ProsI use this same model at work and I was impressed. I didn't want a widescreen for my small desk to get the vertical size, so this monitor was my choice. The height and tilt adjustments are simple. The image is SHARP, the color is VIVID, and the design is SLEEK. With its narrow frame, it's perfect to set it side-by-side next to my laptop when I use it as a dual monitor system. For price/performance, I'm extremely happy with this model. ConsNone comes to mind.

ProsThe only thing wrong with this monitor is that it is not free. The picture quality is fantastic, multiple inputs, fast refresh, large screen area. Of course I would love to have the 30 inch but 20.1 inch is a very nice size for a computer monitor. I am a developer. This monitor has a lot of room to run the IDE with all the windows open. I also use it for playing games. The speed is very nice, no artifacts. The price I paid was an excellent deal compared to other monitors of similar size. The ultrasharp is worth every penny. ConsThere are no cons I can think of.

ProsHaving switched over completely to CAD drafting a couple of months ago, I found that the 17" flat screen monitor purchased five years before with my old Dell computer just didn't offer enough working space for the graphics I was doing. Upon hooking up the new 20" ultra sharp, it was like a new world opened up. The expanded working area and clarity of graphics makes my work more like play now. I don't do gaming so can't offer any comments on things like ghosting, but for my applications, it is all that Dell advertises it as. Would definitely recommend. ConsAs far as advertised performance, to date haven't found any.
Review:I bought the 20" monitor because it offered the greatest height in relation to width. Would really like to see a 22" or 24" monitor with a corresponding increase in height for even greater working area.

ProsBright, Clear, Flexible, Versatile All around great monitor that takes up small amount of space and gives huge pictures. The options to plug s-video and input video are very useful for gaming consoles. The Image resolution is a huge difference compared to my original CRT monitor. Shipping was regular ground and still got here within 2 days. ConsCost is a little high but i believe that you pay for what you get.

Title: 2007FP Monitor, Not bad, good for the price

ProsClear, bright display with no apparent dead pixels. Better color control possibilities than 2001FP (model from a couple years back) and includes a brightness adjustment the prior model did not have. Overall, for the money, these are great monitors. Would prefer DELL to add an sRGB default color setting. ConsFlimsy stand that does not rise to the same height as the prior model's stand (the pipe design with semi-circular base.) This presents a challenge for a dual monitor setup as I now have to lower the previous monitor down to the level of the new monitor (I prefer the higher position). The new stand also does not appear to hold the monitor with as much stability... slight bumps or rapid typing can cause the monitor to shake a little.
