Title: Great monitors!
Date: March 3, 2008
ProsI purchased two of these monitors for side-by-side CAD/CAM work and am blown away by the unit's abilities to work together without color deviation or image degradation. It ain't easy to make products that perform so consistently. Predictably great products! ConsThe stands are a bit cheesy. Good thing I purchased the double swing arm mounts, too (from Dell, of course) 'cause they're great!
Review:Dell takes allot of flak from the "also ran’s" but they are the best at keeping innovation at the forefront without loosing site of the little guy and keeping prices down.

Title: Best monitor in the market
Date: February 28, 2008
ProsCrisp sharp images from this monitor nice and bright, and does not hurt your eyes. Nice 1600X1200 Pixel Resolution (Using Digital DVI-D). Gaming is incredible with this picture, Played need for speed Carbon on it and it blew me out of the water. ConsDoes not support HDCP, however, it does suppoed 476i 576p and 720p resolutions. You figure it out. haha
Review:I recommend this monitor for anyone, for the price thou I would wait for it to lower.

Title: Great monitor, a little pricey
Date: February 7, 2008
ProsGreat picture - bright, good colors No problem playing Call of Duty 4, Warcraft, Hallf-life 2 at 1600x1200 resolution (using a Dell quad-core and 8800GT) - looks really nice. ConsLittle on the pricey side - guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get another one, though

Title: Known Issue With Monitor
Date: January 18, 2008
ProsElegant design, and a reasonably good image quality. ConsAs also indicated on the Dell forum, after a short period of operating time tapes that are evidently present between the LCD panel and the backlight migrate in to the corners' viewing areas. The color of the tapes is yellow.
Review:It is incredible that an over $400.00 monitor does have the issue with tape as mentioned. Evidently, the hardware was not tested well during its development since, as also indicated on the Dell forum, the issue may develop even after a couple of weeks of operating time. The one that I have developed the issue in the left upper corner after about two months of use.

Title: I didn't know what I had...
Date: December 6, 2007
ProsI purchased this monitor as part of a Dell Precision system (never really paid attention to the price). I've been using this monitor in a dual monitor configuration with a 17" flat screen. I thought this monitor was great, but didn't realize just how great it is until I recently replaced my 17" flat screen with a 19" flat panel (of another brand). The difference between the two flat panels is huge. The Dell monitor out-performs the other monitor in every way. I now wish I had saved up more money and purchased a second Dell 2007WFP and will probably purchase one within the next 6-12 months. I highly recommend this monitor! ConsPrice, price, price. It's a great monitor, but I'm still not completely convinced that the price is comparable to the overall quality/performance.

Title: The benchmark standard bearer monitor
Date: October 17, 2007
ProsI am a professional programmer and have been struggling with a huge widescreen Dell 2405FPW for about a year and gave up. That monitor is 1920x1200 and is good for gamers and casual programmers but is simply not wide enough for programming and is unfortunately too wide to have two of them side-by-side. The solution for me is to use these two 2007FP super high-resolution standard aspect monitors. It's really hard to find non-widescreen-aspect monitors higher than 1280x1024 but this 2007FP runs at an amazing 1600x1200. Two of them side-by-side in X Windows is my most productive environment. I wish I could buy these for my home. ConsThese monitors are terribly expensive. I don't know what kind of special magic electronics or flat panel technology makes this monitor twice the price of other monitors. I want to say the price is worth it, but I cannot do that. They also don't seem suited for gaming, just for heavy document production and programming. I guess that is good since that's what I use them for at work but at home I would like to use them for gaming but the specifications indicate that they don't seem to be suited to gaming applications.
Review:I sure would like the price to come down further so I can buy two of these for my home computer.

Title: Bad coating causes diffraction
Date: October 2, 2007
ProsThis monitor, like every other Dell monitor, features a slick and solid design and provides USB ports on the side which I think is the most compelling reason to get a Dell display. ConsThe image quality is not good and absolutely irritates me. I have two of these at work and after 4 months with these monitors I still cannot stand looking at them. I think that the underlying cause of the bad image quality is some sort of protective coating that is applied to the screen which diffracts the EM waves. On close inspection, there are uneven areas on the screen, some lighter and some darker, presumably because the coating is not applied evenly. Another peculiarity you will notice close up are these semi-transparent diagonal hashes, which cause noticeable diffraction and make is very hard to focus your eyes on the screen.
Review:If you want a nice smooth image, do not buy any new Dell monitors because all the one's I have seen in the last six months have this irritating coating applied to the surface of the screen.

Title: whoa!
Date: June 28, 2007
ProsI love this monitor! I upgraded my new computer package with it, so at first I was skeptical since it was an upgrade...PROVED ME WRONG! I am visually impaired so a bigger monitor was in my favor of purchase. As soon as I turned it on, I was in awe at the brilliance of the quality. I reccomend it for sure! ConsOSD is sort of weird, but no big deal, it's a personal preference

Title: Great monitor
Date: June 28, 2007
ProsHigh Resolution - for this size, you can't go higher Sleek look Rotation ability Input selection is on front, while button is subtle ConsRefresh rate isn't optimal for fast video-gaming, but its sufficient. Works fine for TV as well (running into my video card, and back out the DVI)
Review:I don't know much about the features because I've never had to adjust the monitor. I have two of them, side by side, one flipped vertically. They are GREAT... for the size the cost is reasonable. I heard someone complaining about their stability (stand wasn't sturdy)... that is not true, unless you're using this monitor on a bumpy cross-country ride. I've never been so happy with my monitors...

Title: This monitor is amazing, but...
Date: June 26, 2007
ProsPicture quality is amazing, no dead pixels, and all the other nice things you are reading from people. The design is by far the most aesthetically appealing of any monitor on the market and it's totally functional. Looks great next to my precision 390 which by the way is a sick machine (15k sas) that eats laptops for breakfast. Muahh muaahh! Cons- The OSD is not intuitive at all and just plain weird. - 1600 x 1200 is hard on the eyes, and that is why this is going on eBay. (not dells fault)
Review:Unfortunately I just can't get used to the tiny fonts and icons at 1600 x 1200 res. I don't know who comes up with these standards, but it's making my eyes hurt. 1600 x 1200 would be ok if it was a 22", but at 20" you're gonna be wearing glasses soon...

Title: Excellent buy for the price!
Date: June 21, 2007
ProsWhen I purchased the monitor I also purchased the sound bar and couldn't be happier with both of them. The sound is clear, the picture is crystal clear and I use my computer alot more than I used to. I even play DVD's for the grandchildren so they can watch their movies in another room. I read other reviews before I purchased this monitor and I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but I am so glad I did. I highly recommended this monitor and the sound bar. ConsNone that I have found and I have had it for several months now.

Title: THE GREATEST
Date: June 19, 2007
ProsThe monitor is great to look at, Resolution is very clean and everything looks great on the screen, I had already purchased a 15" monitor and I really like that one so I decided to purchase one with a larger screen. I have 3 computers and all 3 of my computers are from Dell, which means that I love the products that I purchase from dell and the prices that I pay for the items I purchase. I also love the fact that I can actually build my own computer online before I actually purchase it . How nice is this huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Title: Solid Monitor
Date: June 18, 2007
ProsThis Ultrasharp monitor displays very crisp text and images with its 1600x1200 contrast ratio. It has multiple, useful inputs and USB ports available on the side and back of it. It is simple to set up and able to be moved and displayed in various environments (such as with different chairs and desks) extremely easily due to the adjusting height stand and small base. ConsStand alone price is a little expensive, so it is probably better to be bought with a desktop deal.
Review:This 20 inch Ultrasharp monitor is a great buy.
I have read many reviews about this monitor and it does compare to the 1905 FP monitor from dell, it is just as good quality wise and better due to size and design. I do not know what extremes people are going to with their monitors when complaining about the base stability, but this monitor's base is fine.
The only problem I have had with this monitor was a tiny insect crawling under the LCD screen, which, lucky enough for me, was able to crawl out onto the back panel, where I could dispose of it. So, I am not sure how the warranty would have dealt with that problem, but luckily I will not have to find out.

Title: Solid Monitor
Date: June 11, 2007
ProsI have had two 2007FP for the past year. Both have performed remarkably. They have great color and performance in games. The design provides flexibility when I use it in diffrent locations and with diffrent chairs. I have needed each of the imputs over the year although the imputs were not why I purchased the monitor. I love the ultraSharp monitors from Dell. ConsI can not think of any cons.
Review:This is a good monitor for any use.

Title: Great for reading books in portrait mode.
Date: May 30, 2007
ProsIf you have to spend long hours reading on your computer buy this monitor. At 1600x1200 the text is crisp and the display easily rotates between portrait and landscape mode. ConsThe V shaped base is stylish, but an ugly round circular base would have been much more stable. My display sits on a raised platform and I feel the need to steady it when I rotate from landscape to portrait.
Review:When playing Half-life 2 at 1280x1024 this display is very good for an LCD, but a 19" with a native 1280x1024 resolution would have been better.

Title: Simply the Best
Date: May 26, 2007
ProsGREAT PRICING!!! Operated perfect right out of the Box. Its the largest Standard aspect ratio monitor out there. I dislike the Widescreen monitors because I do so much Art on my Computer. I do not want to have to worry about stretched images. Its good to have a 4:3 monitor that is large enough and bright enough to re-create lifelike color. The best 4:3 there is. Buy now before the Whole World is swallowed by Widescreen. ConsIf you think widescreen is better this is not the monitor for you.

ProsThe image field works well for beginner and professional user. Its size and view ability fits well into any environment, from home to office use. The flat screen allows for viewing from sides without distortion which in limited spaces is vital for more than one viewer. The size promotes the maximum quality without loss of sharpness. ConsThe price is a bit more than the average user would like to pay. But if all its quality, many features and easy adaptability are considered, the investment is worth the price.

Pros-Very sharp and crisp display -Very easy to connect and hook up -Bright and responsive display Cons-Having problems with the built in USB hub not being recognized -If there is not a device connected to that port than it takes a while to let you switch from DVI to Analog
Review:Overall this is a great monitor and I love it. I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a nice, clean looking monitor to go in their office.
