Review:This is my second wide-screen monitor I bought from Dell. I had a 23 inch monitor which I was not pleased with. It came with a defect. It was a pinhole defect that allowed light to defray from the tube. It was very annoying to say the least. This prompted me to buy the 24 inch monitor which I am very pleased with. The colors are crisp and the movies are clear. But most of all, it came without defects. All I can say is great job Dell!

Review:I read many of the reviews prior to purchasing this Monitor; only a few were slightly negative and the rest were positive. That has been my experience as well. The size is perfect for my work, especially working from two windows and/or documents side-by-side. And, of course, the size is **wonderful** for watching movies. :o)
There is a yellowing tint when viewed from the left or right side (at approx. 40-45 degree from center) but that is not a distraction in my work or play.
The LDC image takes on a "negative" affect/look when viewed from almost any angle above straight-on (I realize that this is not uncommon, but something I've never liked about LCD). Odd that the same does not occur when viewed from the bottom (tilting the Monitor up) This is not a problem for me as I don't work from upper angles, it's just noticeable when getting into or out of my chair.
I do think it is odd that Dell recommends the DVI connection but ships the monitor with a VGA cable (humorous I think). I'm using the VGA cable with a VGA-to-DVI converter plugged into an ATI video card and it works perfectly, no problems encountered at all.

Review:Did not want to sync properly, acting like an old video monitor. I changed the horizontal sync from its default and now it works just fine.
Monitor is entirely too low and no way to adjust it higher, forcing you to tip it up so you get ceiling light glare. No USB port either. Very futuristic looking, but bezel is a dust magnet. Limited vertical pixels.

Review:Very well-made product here with the ST2410. Excellent value; great "bang for the buck". Picked it up for $199 on sale, received it in 3 days from when I clicked "order". Setup in < 5 minutes and no dead pixels. Tested with 1080p HD movies, looks gorgeous. It has 2 lamps (vs. 4) to save energy, so its max brightness isn't very high: but maxed out is *perfect* for me, so I'm not complaining (just an fyi). Hence, I would strongly suggest playing with the brightness/contrast levels a bit. I found 100/65 (brightness/contrast) levels to be much better than the factory default of 75/75. Could have included DVI cable, but I suppose if it lowers the price, that's fine with me. Very satisfied overall.

Review:I was only looking for a new desktop at the time, but eventually decided that I should upgrade my old LCD monitor (previously purchased from Dell). I'm glad I made that decision. The moment I started using this monitor, I couldn't be happier, well I could be if I have something better, but you know what I mean. This monitor is definitely worth your money. It's crystal clear with Blu-Ray movies, and awesome with the video editing that I do. It performs superbly in games also, this is one monitor I would definitely recommend. I have no regrets purchasing this monitor.

Review:I recently upgraded my business (as opposed to photo processing) desktop to a souped-up Dell Inspiron 580 with Windows 7. I also wanted to get rid of my reliable but gigantic, 10-year-old, 60 pound NEC 22” monitor. The Dell ST-2210 was well reviewed and a quite inexpensive add-on, so I got it with the computer. While this super-wide monitor allowed me to keep multiple screens in view (a great Windows 7 feature), I discovered it was considerably shorter than my old NEC, and this made it harder to see smaller print. I checked a Dell mailer, and saw the ST-2410 on sale, ordered it, and hooked it up with a DVI-DVI cable (not included) for best results. It is just perfect. I have the monitor about 20” behind the keyboard so I have lots of work space, and this arrangement works great. The monitor has enough height to make even small text readable, it is wide enough to have multiple windows open at one time, and the HD detail is just superb. I am now using the ST-2210 as a secondary monitor for my Dell XPS photo processing setup. I highly recommend the ST-2410, especially at such a reasonable price. I would urge going with it, rather than the smaller ST-2210; the small cost difference is worth it.

Review:I was absolutely stunned with the clarity and colors of the 2410 after stepping up from a 22" Dell.
It worked immediately when hooked up (Vista), and there was no tweaking or setup required.
Having enough real estate to have multiple windows open is a bonus, and video plays nicely.
If you're in the market for a great monitor at an excellent price, don't hesitate to purchase this unit.

Review:Pro: Excellent HD monitor, easily installs with HDMI cable to graphics card. The best part is my old speaker system audio bar fit perfectly on the new monitor.
Con: The only problem is where the control were placed. I have side-by-side monitors and with a monitor to the left of this new one it obstruction access to the control buttons. They would have been better off leaving them on the front of the monitor.
Summary: Excellent monitor!

Review:I love this monitor. I do a lot of work from home and I have dual monitors at work. At home I wasn't able to see both monitors on my one 19" flat panel. I can now view both of my work monitors on one screen. Also it's awesome for watching movies.
CONS: There are 2 pixels that are always on. I need to call customer service for a replacement. They really aren't that noticeable, but now that I know they are there they bug me.
