ProsI bought these as a sound system for a bedroom Dell PC-driven media center, with the idea of the RF-linked back speaker being a big plus. The sound distributes even around the room in an even and not heavy handed way just as I hoped that it would.
ConsProbably not powerful enough to drive a main HD-theater set up unless it was in a small space, which wasn't a problem for me.

ConsNo real down side with this set of speakers. Not really for the true gamer if looking for incredible sound though.

ProsWell Made, and sounded great. Wireless speaker in rear is good idea (who likes wires all the way to the rear of a room?) but I will say more about that later. Speakers also looked good, especially compared to all the strange looking speakers out today.
ConsWireless rear speaker, while being a good idea, was the reason I returned this unit. In order to save power, it turns on and off when the sound passes a certin volume threshold. A good idea in principle, but it made for a speaker that clicked on and off all day. Sometimes it would even click on and off for each note. This was obviously a large disruption to the music. I also wasn't crazy about both rear speakers being in one unit.
Review:With that one thing fixed (it would only take a tweak to allow us to control the volume threshold or disable it entirely) this would be the best unit avaliable. Unfortunately, I had to return it as it was driving me crazy. This was tough to rate. It's a 1 and a 5 at the same time.

ProsThese speakers have a full sound with plenty of seperation on our XPS 410. We have a mid priced audigy sound card that outputs to 6.1 theatre sound. The subwoofer has a big thud with a solid sound. The rear wirelss speakers work quite well even though they are in the same enclosure. The center speaker fits our 24 inch ultra witde screen nicely, and can use this center mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf above the system as it comes with a stand that attaches. The rear speaker enclosure also arrives with a stand. The ergonomic design fits right in with the XPS machines, everything matches!
ConsNot much. If I were to change something I would make the left and right speakers just a llittle shorter to fit into smaller computer desks.
Review:Outstanding value for a 5.1 system. I don't mind that the rear speakers are in an enclosure. This makes for easier mounting and placed properly, gives enough seperation that the sound environment envelops you! Very attractive to our Dell system and delivered quite quickly. In short, you can't beat it for the price!

ConsI don't like the rear speakers being in the same box. There's not any separation.
Review:I shopped around the other product offerings before deciding on this DELL system. For the money, it delivers more sound power output.

Prosgreat idea to have a wireless rear speaker
ConsThey are JUNK! I have had 3 sets of the speakers in 3 weeks with 3 different problems. Do not purchase them if you plan to use the back speaker at all. The first set the rear speaker had a lot of popping. The second set the rear speaker would not connect wirelessly. The third set the noise that came out of the speaker was nothing but static with a hint of music.
