Review:The A525 Multimedia Speaker System is a fairly well rounded system. I got it with my desktop and have never really had any problems with it.
PROS
The Bass Dial allows you to easily turn up or down the bass level without having to go change it manually in your computer (and we all know how hard it is to find it)
CONS
The satellite with the volume dial broke at the base from extended use. So don't use it too hard.
Other than that it's a perfectly fine system for anyone to have. :)

Review:this product was good for about 2 weeks tops then all of sudden the speaker wire has a short and both speakers and subwoofer were either staticy or don't work at all. I don't recommend this product

Review:Click on Compatability button at top of description page. If you don't see it, click on item graphic, which will take you there. However, I tend to agree, most sales rep.'s I spoke with had no idea about their products. You're pretty much on your own if you don't find a good one. If you do, get their extension and use them exclusively, as I'm sure they'll be "rewarded" for it and it will save you frustration and headaches.

Review:Obviously you should not expect world class audio sound with inexpensive speakers, but neither should you be treated to constant noise from bad wire connections (where the speaker wires connect to the subwoofer. The noise is constant even in mute.

Review:Speakers are smaller than my old ones, but now I have a woofer. Allow about 10" square of space on your desk for the woofer just to be sure it'll fit, although it's less than 8" tall/wide. The sound is fine for the movies and clips I watch on my pc. No strange noises and when quiet, they're really quiet. Very satisfied.

ProsWonderful sound and small speakers that are slim and attractive looking with my Dell Computer and compliment with the nice style.
ConsNo real cons but the size of the woofer is a bit larger than I realized so be certain that you have room for on your desk area.
Review:The quality if really great and very easy to connect. I would recommend this totally.

ConsI can't make a purchase based on the information provided. I can't tell whether the speakers are compatible with the Dell computer I just purchased. And, frankly, I'm not sure the person I spoke with knows either. Frustrating.

ProsNice styling and sleek appearance.
ConsThese speakers buzz constantly when turned on. I have exchanged them once already and still get the same result. Occurs even when they aren't plugged into the computer. Nothing more irritating than buzzing and static when you are trying to work. If you like turning your speakers on and off throughout the day or the melodic irritation of white noise than by all means get these.

Title: Big Sound for Small Size and Price

ProsThis is actually my first 2.1 speaker system. It greatly outperforms all the other speakers that I have had (including my boombox and my shelf stereo system). These speakers boast an excellent bass response. In fact, earlier today, I played a CD and heard bass sounds in some songs that I never before knew even existed! I also like that the subwoofer has a bass volume control. I prefer it in the middle because any higher overexaggerates the bass.
ConsI have, however, gone through a DVD with several speaker diagnostics. This included a test which played a 200 Hz sound which gradually lowered to 20 Hz. As I listened to this, I noticed that the sound is exaggerated near 100 Hz, then attenuates extremely below that point. A good speaker system should reproduce sound at an equal level at all frequencies. This speaker system, obviously, does not. Also, there is somewhat of a static feedback if you listen extremely closely.
Review:If you never listened to the sound diagnostics, you would not even know the difference.
