ProsHave had the same bulb for almost three years
Time logged is 2701 hours and it is still working
Was able to swicth over to HD equipment with minor hassels
ConsCost of the replacement bulb is expensive but given three years of use helps ease the pain

Review:Make sure you purchase a certified replacement bulb

Proslightweight, compact and easy to use
ConsBulb burned out in less than 100 hours instead of the 3000 as advertised.

Review:When I purchased the projector, I felt that the price was reasonable. But if I have to spend $350 per year for a bulb, then it was not a cost effective buy.

ProsWorks fine while until lamp fails
ConsLamp failure in less than 100 hours. The lamp is rated at 3,000 hours. We have used the projector for one year but less than 100 hours when the lamp failed at the start of a presentation. The projector was always trasported in the case.

ProsGREAT WHEN WORKING-
ConsI HAVE THIS PROJECTOR AT HOME AND IT IS NEVER MOVED.THIS BULB WENT OUT AFTER PROBABLY 150 HRS OF USE.I BOUGHT THE UNIT IN MAY 06-BULB NEEDED REPALCEMENT IN DEC 06.VERY POOR QUALITY AND NO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ProsGreat lightweight projector, especially in these days of carry-on-everything.
ConsThe supposed 3000 hour lamp blew out after well less than 100 hours of use. I never shipped, dropped, or sent the projector as airline baggage. Always carried it in the Dell case as carry-on. Somebody bumped the projector cart during a presentation and Bing! $359 down the pipes!
