Title: Best Printer I Have Used So Far
|
Date: October 15, 2009
|
Product Uses: home printing and faxing
Review:Pros I hade a hard time finding a dell printer compatible with Windows 64bit operating system. This one has worked flawlessly since the day I bought it. A dell representative recomended it to me with the utmost confidence that it would work and it has so far. It is also a lot quieter and not as bulky as the last few Dell printers I have owned. Good Job!!!
Cons The only thing I wish this printer had was the onboard screen to view pictures.

Product Uses: wireless printing
Review:This is my first wireless printer, and I love it. I could not set it up for wireless printing. I called Dell Tech support and "Sam" set up everything for me. I am very happy with my printer. I love the wireless feature. I can print from any room in my house. The print quality is good. I have not yet used it to print photos.

Title: V505W
|
Date: October 7, 2009
|
Product Uses: printing needs
Review:High quality capabilities, very easy to set up and connect to the wireless. The first printer that was shipped had problems with the wireless connectivity. After spending some time with Dell Technical Support, they determined that the wireless card was probably bad. A replacement printer was shipped by Fedex Express which arrived in a day. It comes with a feeder which saves time during scanning and copying of multiple sheets. I love this printer!

Title: A solid all-in-one printer
|
Date: September 26, 2009
|
Review:I bought the V505w for use at home, and have been happy with it so far, especially for the price. This is the first wireless printer I've purchased, so hoped its set up would be smooth. I found it quite easy to introduce to my wireless network. It's been easy to operate. Print speed is good, print quality for documents is average (I have not yet used it to print photos), and it's fairly quiet. It's visually apealing next to my desk. Overall, this is a solid daily use printer.

Title: Good All in One
|
Date: September 23, 2009
|
Product Uses: Connecting with Friends, being able to scan a document and email it quickly, being able to fax to those who do not have email.
Review:I really like this machine. It is the easiest machine to use the scan feature I have ever used. The print quality is great.
The only thing I wish was different was that it would hold more paper. That is my only complaint with this all-in-one machine.
Other wise it is great and well worth the price. You can also buy original Dell ink now at Staples and I like not having to order it.

Title: Wireless all in one printer.
|
Date: September 21, 2009
|
Product Uses: to print out business/school papers
Review:Over all I like the printer. The only issue I have is the ink seems to run out very quickly. I do not feel I use it that often for the ink to run out so quickly. Other than that everything else is good.

Title: Great printer
|
Date: September 12, 2009
|
Product Uses: print lesson plans, school work
Review:I bought this printer because we had 4 computers and needed to go wireless. The speed is great and the print quality is excellent. Although we do a lot of printing the ink doesn't last as long as we had anticipated. We use a little more ink that we did on our old printer. Also,we misunderstood the description in that we thought the printer had a built in wireless aparatus. You have to purchase an adapter. It will work on ethernet connect though. Overall, would definitely recommend the purchase

Review:Once you get it setup for wireless, it works fine, but getting it done is not for the average Joe. I worked 25 years for a major communications company after gaining a computer science gegree and if it weren't for my experience in the area I would have boxed back and returned it!

Title: Excellent Printer
|
Date: August 13, 2009
|
Review:Just received the V505W yesterday. Set up for my XPS420(Visa) wireless took about 10 minutes. Next set up on my laptop (Windows XP) wireless took about 15 minutes. Everything went well. Just follow the instructions and you will be up and running in less than 30 minutes for both computers. Desktop, Laptop, and printer are all in different parts of the house. Well done Dell.

Review:Overall I found the printer easy to install and use. I use the printer with the wireless connection and have more than one computer that can use the printer. My only concern is that it has developed a small squeak while printing and I wonder what it life expectancy is.

Title: One Little Glitch
|
Date: August 6, 2009
|
Product Uses: personal, home business
Review:I am pleased with the purchase, especially at the low price. The wireless connectivity is problem-free and the print speed is as advertised.
There is one problem, however, the paper catches on something it leaving the print head area and leaves an annoying little "dent" in the middle of the top edge of each printed page. I have been unable to figure out what is causing it yet, perhaps a misaligne roller. This is probably only this particular printer that does this, I do not believe this problem is typical of the product series.

Title: makes life a little easy
|
Date: August 6, 2009

Review:pros: This wireless printer does take the stress out of how to set up. Step by step unpack it, remove packing tape, set printer to get ready to print before installing and power on then plug in to your Dell computer then after printer CD is installed unplug and waa laa! It's that easy with this Dell to Dell. Now I'm not so sure about other computer's to this wireless printer but I don't really need to. Printing on both sides is a Plus! cons: Depending on HOW you are printing it can be slow. Some programs have a complex manor in which it wants to print. Printer has to be put on scan mode manually to scan to laptop or PC.
