Review:This is a good product for someone who doesn't do any massive printing. For basic printing needs, it works just fine, and the color images look pretty good. I have had a few problems with paper jams when there is too much paper, or when we're down to just a few sheets.

Review:This is a nice printer especially for the price. Has all of the functionality I needed...print, copy, scan and produces nice quality. I also like that multiple toner cartridges are not needed...just one black and one color. The printer is a nice size (not too big) and is very sturdy. I would recommend this printer to someone looking for a good basic printer.

Review:Pros: The V305 is priced well - a good, all around printer for the cost. Easy to set up and work.
Cons: The print is not as clear as it should be. I should also add that I have an older computer, with a low-bus, and this computer needs a hi/bus input, which slows down the works.

Review:Because of the deal that I got the printer was inexpensive. It does seem to eat up ink as other reviewers identify. I was also a little bummed that it didn't come with a cable. All-in-all I think it is a decent printer, but if I would have bought this on it's own (instead of a package), I would have been disappointed.

Review:My old Dell printer broke and I found this one. I am very satisfied with it! It prints fast, has a sleep mode so you don't have to unplug it every time it is not in use, and even has wireless printing capabilities. I would definitely recommend this for all your printing needs!

Review:I like this printer because of the wifi function, so we only have to have 1 printer in the house. However, on occasion the wifi stops working and you have to reconfigure the whole thing to get the laptop to "see" it. Also, it eats ink like crazy. I have had it for 5 months and with moderate use we've had to replace the cartridges twice already. Cheap up front but EXPENSIVE on the ink.

Review:I was utterly astounded that the essential cable was a separate purchase. Anything that's necessary to use a printer should be included in the printer cost and come with it. That said, the printer seems to work very well. I purchased it around two months ago but set it up and started using it only about a week ago. I am already somewhat appalled that the ink is used up so quickly. I don't do a great deal of printing, but the ink levels are dropping. I have very mixed feelings about this printer - it works extremely well but has hidden costs in terms of the ink usage and the essential cable purchase.

Review:This is a very nice printer for the money, easy set up,smooth operation.........my teen loves it so far! The only drawback I must mention is the flimsy power cord hookup that reminds me of some sort of " powerpack"and the lack of a usb cord(not included).

Review:I was encountering problems with my old printer, also a Dell. I was getting very light printouts and then almost nothing, which was surprising since I had recently inserted a new black cartridge.
When I took the cartridge back to the store with the receipt, I received no satisfaction. I was advised to send the bad cartridge back to Dell, who would then suppossidly contact the retailer (Staples) authorizing a replacement.
Frustrated I returned home; went to my computer and found that Dell was offering a special on this printer. The total price with tax was $42, which was cheaper than buying black and color cartridge replacements for my old printer.
The new printer has easy to use. I am very satisfied with its quality and efficiency.
As a last note, Dell also provided me with an extremely easy method of environmentally disposing of my old printer at no expense.
Obviously, I have no qualms about recommending the product and the company to my friends and acquantances with no hesitation.

Review:this printer seems to work well. But I switched my OS to Linux and now the printer is a paperweight. I can still copy with it but cannot print. I was told by Dell staff that it would work with my OS but have since found out otherwise. I did various web searches and found that it is not supported. Overall is good deal if you run Windows but other OS watch out.

Review:Excellent printer for the money. I get an upgraded printer about every 2 years. When it is time to purchase new color and black cartidge, I just buy a new printer. This upgraded printer is energy efficient and shuts to hibernate mode when not in use to save energy. Nice printer!
