Prosprints pretty fast and has good quality printis also easy to operate. best printer i have had recently.
Consdrinks ink like water thru a siv. need to fix this problem. also ink is really to high for a small business. need to reduce the price.

ConsUses way 2 much ink. The Dell 946 uses much less ink and prints a lot of pages.. I could print 600+ copies in just black ink and with the Dell 948, I could only print about 200 sheets in black....

Review:It's a good quality printer but your gonna be spending alot of money on ink... I've had the printer for about a month and I've already had to change the black cartridge...

Review:After putting in my first cartridges, after only printing about 10 documents, with a little color, mostly black, that my ink levels were at 1/2 left. However, after 10 more prints when they dropped to "empty", the printer kept on printing. I must have gotten another 100 prints while the indicators read "empty", but I only got about 20 before that. Interesting.

ProsEasy to install and operate. Makes great copies and easy to adjust for multiple copies.

ProsIt's great! It does what it's supposed to do, and does it well. It's nice looking also. It even can tell when your phone line is plugged in to it and whether it's plugged into the right place. It's easy to set up. I haven't tried to print pictures yet, but I have printed, faxed and copied. The ink does run out kind of fast, but that's because it comes with a smaller size. I bought the big size too, which I am expecting will be just fine. Amazing deal.
ConsA few minor annoyances: I use it wirelessly and every once in a while, a message will come up that says the computer cannot communicate with the printer. So I have to go into the other room, unplug the thing and then restart it. There seems to be no real reason why it does this, since I usually print from the same location in the house.
The other thing is the constant ink reminders, but you can shut off the really irritating one.

Review:One piece of advice: when it says it's out of ink, it really isn't yet. You can get several more pages out after that--just keep an eye on it to make sure it hasn't really run out, so you don't have to go back and redo all of your print jobs. Mine's been saying for days that it is out of black ink, but yet it's still printing just fine with black ink. So that should save you a little bit of money at least.

ProsOnce the wireless module was clipped into place, it took all of 5 minutes to connect and print through our existing WIFI network. We typically don't print photos, and have used the copier/scanner features extensively. Scanning through the network is a breeze-- whether it's to the 4-month old laptop running Vista or the 6 year old desktop. This was a great replacement for the 922 AIO and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality AIO. We haven't used the fax feature, but if it is like the others, I'm sure we'll like it as much!
ConsThe paper tray is somewhat small; then there is the perennial issue of ink cartridges. We got extra cartridges, and there is supposed to be a Staples gift card coming our way at some point as well. There really isn't much to complain about, given our usage patterns.

ProsIt has great features and the stand alone FAX is perfect!
ConsUse a LOT of ink! Must set at draft! "Feeder" for FAX and copies is not always on target.

ProsI thought I purchased a steal of a deal when first started using this printer. Print quality is excellent, however, doesn't make up for the amount of ink it uses!
ConsI am so sorry I purchased this printer. Waste of money! They could GIVE it away for the amount of money you spend in ink. I'm going to buy another printer and make sure I check out the ink usage first.

Review:It's really a buyer beware! Be prepared to purchase lots of ink cartridges.

ConsINK HOG, consumes ink cartridges extremely quickly and they are not cheap to replace (1 rating for battery life in lieu of an option to vote for ink use); menu settings do not 'save', they reset after each use or function switch; incoming faxes occasionally fail to connect

Review:I may very well switch to a different model. This unit consumes ink so rapidly it's almost not worth the savings. I'd prefer to spend extra money on one that gets more out of each cartridge instead of replacing them every other week. If you only plan on using it occasionally, it's a good buy. If you plan on using it daily, you might want to reconsider or stock up on cartridges.
