ConsNo HDTV connections! There is no way to push a HDTV signal to this projector.

ProsRunning 2 of these projectors 12 hours per day for the last year, and other than changing the bulbs already (normal wear), I have had absolutely no problems with these units. As of last week, I need to start running them 24-hours per day, 7 days a week so I'm curious to see how they live up to that durability.
ConsImage darkens quite a bit over the life of the bulb with a slight colour shift (dull looking). I have 2 of these running side by side (dual-monitor configuration) on a large wall, and when I changed the bulb to one of them first, HUGE DIFFERENCE!! I couldn't wait until the other bulb died so I can have two projector images that matched again.

ProsIve had this projector for almost a year now, and it still performs just like it came out of the box brand new! The ones at school do not compare the the 2400mp. This projector is very bright with crisp images. I could not ask for anything else that i wanted out of a projector. Well worth it!!!
ConsWhen changing channels (when watching tv), it always trys to switch sources witch gets frusterating at times. The noise from the fans can be verry annoying when there is a quiet part in a movie.

ProsWe use our projector in the youth room at church and it has performed beautifully. We have used it for lesson material, video games, movies, and running announcements before class. Since other people in church have found out how good it works, they have been using the youth room whenever they can. Everything about the projector has lived up to what it claimed to be.
ConsThe projector mounting was much more expensive than an offbrand universal mounting. The cables were not as long as I needed them to be for mounting on the ceiling. When hooked up to a television it goes blank and looks for a new source every time the channel changes.

Review:In our youth room (25' X 25') we have 10 flourescent fixtures on one switch. We had to put one of the fixtures on a seperate switch so we could turn off the other lights.
In my living room (10' X 12') it worked almost as well with the lights on as it did with the lights off.

ProsGreat brightness and excellent contrast, Works well for conference room presentations on large screens. Works quite well even with considerable room light. Easy to set up and fairly easy to change from ceiling mount to table top use. Supports a pass-through connection to a second monitor.
ConsThe menu is a bit awkward but we do figure it out. Sometimes we need to use the auto-adjust feature when switching between applications.

Review:We are a not for profit youth training organization. Our two Dell 2400MP's have provided excellent service and fit our needs perfectly. We also regularly use two Dell 2300MP's which provide acceptable performance too BUT the Dell 2400MP's provide a noticeably brighter picture especially on the 144" screens. The 2400MP is well worth the price.

ProsI purchased this unit for Powerpoint presentations in a courtroom setting and am very happy with the perfomance. the unit is easy to use and works well with my Dell laptop. No need to dim the lights when using this projector. When you start, it is advised to learn how to use the keystone functions to fit the picture on the screen but this is not a difficult task. For mobile users, I recommend purchashing one of of the portable screens. Works great and I also use at the office in confernce situations. great unit for the price.
ConsI have had this since June 07 and do not have any complaints. I do recommend getting famaliar with the projector, computer hookup and viewing mode prior to a professional presentation.

ProsVery bright and also very versatile. I have used it mostly for movies but works great for business apps as well.
ConsAuto key stoning feature doesn't always work that well.

ProsThis is a great, simple to use, bright portable projector. We bought for a youth multimedia environment where there is always ambient light. We couldn't believe how much better they performed (in respect to light output) than our other portable units. Plus, this was the easiest unit to get working of all we've purchased (easy menus, startup screen, auto sync, etc…). For the price, this is an ideal unit, especially if you're only using a PC…
ConsThis isn't a home theater product. This unit was intended to WOW portable users that get images off their PCs. The connection panel is sparse (no DVI, HDMI, ect…) and it doesn't have the general EXACTNESS of a theater projector. But, Powerpoint and 4:3 promo video are outstanding…
