Title: Very nice 2 in 1 but requires a bit of tweaking outside the box
Posted26 April 2017
Yes, I would recommend this product
The XPS 9365 is a great little laptop. I had been searching for something very thin and light that would be powerful enough to do pretty much anything but video editing and gaming.
Truth is, you shouldn't get this machine if you're planning to do either of these; it's simply isn't up for those challenges.
However, for everything else, it's great. Web surfing, watching videos, writing, power tools, etc. It is the perfect mariage between a tablet and a laptop. As much as I love my iPad, it doesn't have a keyboard and I frankly can get done stuff much quicker with this Dell XPS.
What I really love about this 2-in-1, is that it is, before anything else, a laptop. You can put it on your lap and start typing away and get real stuff done. I use the tablet mode maybe 15-20% of the time, mostly to browse the web and watch videos. The computer is very practical to use.
I've run into some issues sadly that prevent me from giving the 5th star to this computer... at least, out of the box. Some battery drain during sleep and screen flickering were really annoying. However, both of these can be fixed: the first one by installing the latest BIOS version and the second by installing a screen firmware update. However, most users do not have the skills/knowledge to fix these issues and therefore, most people will be stuck with those very negative problems that should, frankly, just be fixed from the get go. Please install the latest BIOS at least by default on new computers!
All in all, I do recommend this product if, yet again, you're not planning to use it for very intensive loads. It works effortlessly when it comes to day-to-day task but don't expect it to perform like a modern desktop. Else, you'll be frustrated.

Title: Everything you need from a 2in1
Posted25 April 2017
Yes, I would recommend this product
Its laptop is light, yet durable due to it's aluminum case. When using it to program 3D games I get about 6 hours out of the battery. My job keeps me very mobile, and the XPS 13 has no problems keeping up! My single complaint is finding difficulty unlocking it while in tablet mode.

Title: Slick and beefy!

Looks great, has as much power as you could want in a tablet/laptop. Display is one of the best out there, I'm in love with the thin bezel. Pretty much nailed my criteria at a price point lower than the two other "premium" brands on the market. I only wish I got it in black (comes out in mid-May.

Title: Perfect in some ways
Posted22 April 2017
Yes, I would recommend this product
the things I like about this laptop: it's the perfect size and weight. It has a great typing feel. Beautiful monitor. I have a problem because it gets really hot on the lap. Somehow the battery life continues to drain even when the machine is in sleep mode. When you close the lid down and come back to it hours later the battery is almost dead. And for some reason my machine doesn't convert to tablet mode at all. Weird.

Title: Mac to PC
Posted20 April 2017
No, I do not recommend this product.
How do I activate my Office subscription? I have downloaded it from Digital locker but keep getting an email saying it is not activated. Also, I am switching back to PC from Mac and have bought the PC versions of some of my most used software. They are not displaying or working as I had expected - my PC is a 2 in 1 could this be the reason?
