Pros:Very quick and cost effective, I am very pleased overall.
Cons:This machine does NOT have 2 internal usb ports, only connections to the 2X4 usb sockets front and back.2 rear usbs are used for the mouse and keyboard. so limited usb free at the back.

Review:My third Dell machine in 10 years. I trust Dell to provide me good, reliable products and I felt I did save money buying from Dell. I liked the fact that I could buy without the monitor.
Pros:Nice casing with a lot of ventilation holes, quiet operation
Cons:Drive bay for CD poorly desiged (button is under lid when open), CD player supplied does not run well

Review:I now have two Vostro 200s, one running a 9800GT card (with power connectors) and a 7600GT (with no power connectors) and they are very sweet.
Pros:Put in a decent graphics card and you have a very good little gaming PC.
Cons:Power supply worries - can it cope with additional hardware.
Because the case is really small if you put in a PCI-E graphics card with power connectors you have a mess of cables and it gets very crowded.

Review:All in all GREAT little computer.
Pros:Runs great, would be a great computer for business, runs clean and fast no problems so far.
Cons:Gaming, yes i know its not a gameing computer but dont buy this for yourself/family/freinds if you want to do any type of gameing on it, the CPU is not fast enough to run most games without lagg and the graphics card or intel chipset just fails on everything.

Review:a great deal - came with a 20inch monitor - I could not have built my own computer at this quality for this cheap.
stuck in another 2gb stick for 3 gbs total. runs nicely so far.
upgraded to windows xp pro (came with home) using a retail cd i had.

Cons:I wish it took both IDE and sata dvd drive, b/c then I could use my old one. also, wish the dvd drive eject button was on top of the drive, not on the bottom. when you close it, you have to press the drive in, instead of pushing the button, b/c the flip down door blocks the button.

Review:Dell only uses USB mouse and keyboard on this model, which can restrict your choices.
Pros:Excellent buy for the buck. Dell is far ahead of everyone else in product for the money spent. Great support. Great sales people. Their decision to continue supporting Windows XP sold me. I bought two of them.

Review:We've ordered over 50 Vostro 200's for resale over the past year in differant configurations. Some have been the mini tower & some have been the slim case. We have not had a single hardware failure nor a single complaint about anything when it comes to these machines. The Vostro 200 is an EXCELLANT small business machine at a VERY affordable price.
Pros:VERY resonably priced. Decent stock features for normal small business use with fairly priced options if you need/want more. NO bloatware. Good quality.
Cons:Can't keep enough of them in stock.
